This series of Lily’s work focuses on local landscapes, London and places that she has visited. Lily grew up in Hay-on-Wye and moved away to London and then abroad. This series explores time passing through revisiting locations of importance to the artist. Locations where Lily pauses and reflects on the changes in her life that time has wrought. Since moving home there is a focus upon the lanes and paths of her childhood, stretching forwards as the skies change and pass overhead.

Lily’s works are mixed media on Hotpress watercolour paper. Tea and collected train tickets feature throughout the collection as an abstract representation of time within her practice. Her process is experimenting and layering different media, cutting and drawing and layering again.

Lily studied Visual Arts at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and left with First Class Honours. Lily gained a Masters Degree in Visual Arts at Camberwell College of Art where she studied on a Rector’s Scholarship, graduating with a Distinction. Lily's career began with exhibitions in galleries and landmarks across London. Her work is held in collections across the UK, America and Asia.
